Tourist visa
Tourist visa, four things to prepare.

Single or multiple entry, 3 years
Single entry costs $50 standard or $100 same/next-day. Multiple entry costs $80 standard or $130 same/next-day. Both are valid for 3 years. If your trip crosses into a neighboring country and returns to Zambia, choose multiple entry.
Flight itinerary
Include a copy if you have a confirmed booking. Not required if your travel dates are still being finalized.
Traveling with a minor under 18?
Bring the child's birth certificate, copies of both parents' passports or driver's licenses, and a notarized parental consent letter if one parent is not traveling.
Applying by mail?
Include a completed Service Order Form so Sameday Passport & Visa Expedite Services can reach you quickly if anything needs clarifying before submission.
Business visa
Business visa, what changes.
The business letter is the one document the tourist visa does not need. Fees and validity are the same.
What the business visa needs
- Business letter from your company. On company letterhead with an original signature or company stamp. Must name a reference firm in Zambia, explain the nature of business and length of stay, include a financial guarantee, and state the requested visa validity and number of entries.
- Single or multiple entry, 3 years. Single entry costs $50 standard or $100 same/next-day. Multiple entry costs $80 standard or $130 same/next-day. Both are valid for 3 years.
- Flight itinerary. Include a copy if you have a confirmed booking. Not required if travel dates are still being finalized.
- Applying by mail? Include a completed Service Order Form so Sameday Passport & Visa Expedite Services can contact you quickly if anything needs clarifying before submission.
Where Zambia applications go wrong
- A letter without a stamp or original signature. The consulate expects one or the other on company letterhead.
- Single entry on a multi-country itinerary. A trip into Zimbabwe or Botswana that returns to Zambia needs multiple entry.
- An unsigned or undated application. The printed form must be signed and dated before it is submitted.
- Checked at the counter. Application, photo and letter are reviewed together before anything is filed.
