The tourist visa covers sightseeing, visiting family, and leisure travel. Maximum stay is 60 days per visit. It does not permit employment or business activities.

Both need an invitation letter on Thai company letterhead. A copy is acceptable.

Business visa

  • Invitation letter from your Thai host. On official Thai company letterhead, stating your name, the purpose of the visit, and the expected duration. A copy is acceptable — an original is not required.
  • Passport, ID, and itinerary. Original valid passport, a copy of your photo ID with a matching address, and your flight itinerary if available.
  • 2x2 visa photo. Plain white background, full face forward, taken within the last month. Available at the Sameday Passport & Visa office.
  • Applying by mail? Include a completed Service Order Form with your package so Sameday Passport & Visa can contact you quickly if needed.

How long can I stay in Thailand on a tourist visa?
The Thailand tourist visa allows a maximum stay of 60 days per visit. A single-entry tourist visa is valid for 3 months from the issue date and costs $40 in consulate fees. A double-entry tourist visa is valid for 3 to 6 months and costs $80. If you need longer access or plan to re-enter, call us at (310) 402-1619 and we will confirm the right visa type for your itinerary.
Do I need a flight itinerary to apply for a Thailand tourist visa?
No. A confirmed flight itinerary is helpful but not required for the Thailand tourist visa. If you have a booking, include it — it can support your application. If your travel dates are not yet finalized, you can still proceed without it. We review your full package at our counter before anything is submitted.
What invitation letter is required for a Thailand business visa?
The Thailand business visa requires an invitation letter from the Thai company you are visiting, written on official company letterhead. A copy is acceptable — an original is not required.
