Tourist eVisa
Tourist eVisa, four things to prepare.

Single entry or East Africa Tourist Visa
Single-entry eVisa costs $51 and covers Kenya only. The East Africa Tourist Visa costs $100 and covers Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda — the right choice if your trip crosses into more than one of these countries.
Flight itinerary
Include a copy if you have a confirmed booking. Not required if your travel dates are still being finalized.
Traveling with a minor under 18?
Bring the child's birth certificate, copies of both parents' passports or driver's licenses, and a notarized parental consent letter if one parent is not traveling.
Applying by mail?
Include a completed Service Order Form so Sameday Passport & Visa can reach you quickly if anything needs clarifying before submission.
Business eVisa
Business eVisa, what changes.
Nothing in the document set. The choice that matters is single entry or the East Africa Tourist Visa.
What the business eVisa needs
- Same documents as tourist. Kenya uses the same document set for both tourist and business eVisa applications. No separate business letter or invitation letter is required.
- Single entry or East Africa Tourist Visa. Single-entry costs $51. East Africa Tourist Visa costs $100 and covers Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda. Choose based on your itinerary.
- Flight itinerary. Include a copy if you have a confirmed booking. Not required if travel dates are still being finalized.
- Applying by mail? Include a completed Service Order Form so Sameday Passport & Visa can contact you quickly if anything needs clarifying before submission.
Where Kenya eVisa applications go wrong
- Applying yourself first. An application already filed at evisa.go.ke cannot be corrected by Sameday Passport & Visa. Bring it in before you submit.
- The wrong eVisa type. A single-entry eVisa does not cover a side trip to Uganda or Rwanda — the East Africa Tourist Visa does.
- An ID address that does not match. Bring a recent major utility bill if your photo ID address differs from your application.
- Checked before submission. Passport, photo, ID and the completed form are reviewed together at the counter.
