Every Egypt visa needs
- Completed application — filled in and checked with the Dallas office
- Valid U.S. passport — current, undamaged, one blank visa page, signed, valid six months from departure
- Two copies of the passport data page — required with every Egypt application
- Copy of flight itinerary — include it if you have one, and it is okay if you do not
- Two visa photos — 2″ x 2″, white background, no older than one month. Do not staple them to the application
How to apply

Complete application
Fill in the Egypt visa application and bring it to the Dallas office, or send it with your documents.
Valid U.S. passport
- You must submit your current undamaged passport and it must have one blank visa page.
- The passport must be signed and valid for six months from the date of departure.
Two copies of passport data page
Two copies of the passport data page are required.
Copy of flight itinerary
- If you have a copy of your flight itinerary or ticket, please include it.
- If you do not have a travel itinerary or a ticket, it is okay.
Two visa photos
- Do not staple to the application.
- Passport photo services are available at the Dallas office.
- Must be 2″ x 2″ on a white background.
- Photo must not be older than one month.
Minors under 18
- Copy of the birth certificate is required.
- Copy of each parent’s passport information page or copy of driver’s licenses.
- Minors not travelling with both parents or guardians must provide a notarized consent signed by the non-accompanying parent or guardian authorizing the consulate to issue a visa.

Requesting multiple entry?
Three extra requirements, and the outcome is not guaranteed.
- Entry dates on the form — the specific dates of entry must be indicated on the visa application form
- Entry dates in the letter — the same dates must appear in the business letter
- An itinerary per entry — you must provide flight itineraries for each entry
- Embassy discretion — the issuance of a multiple entry visa is upon the discretion of the embassy
