The order of operations

1. Suite 500 first
Come to Sameday Passport & Visa Expedite Services at 811 S Central Expy with your citizenship document and ID. The Dallas team can review your DS-11, photo and supporting documents before the acceptance-facility visit.
Skipping this step is what sends people back for a second facility visit.
2. The acceptance facility, then back
An appearance in person at a Passport Acceptance Facility is a mandatory step of your passport order. The acceptance agent verifies your identity and documents, witnesses your signature, collects the required acceptance fee, and seals the DS-11 application package.
Do not open the sealed package. If you are using the private Dallas service, follow the office instructions for delivering the sealed package to Suite 500.

If you are processing your passport application with Sameday Passport & Visa Expedite Services by mail, fill out two Letters of Authorization and send them along with the documents, plus the service order form.
The in-person appearance still applies, so a mailed first application starts only once the sealed package reaches the Dallas office.

A first-time DS-11 application has a separate $35 acceptance fee. For an expedited adult passport book, the Department of State amount is $216.87 when the $130 application fee, $60 expedite fee and $26.87 optional 1–3 day book delivery all apply.

The Department of State application fee is generally paid by check or money order payable to “U.S. Department of State”. The separate $35 DS-11 acceptance fee is paid to the acceptance facility according to that facility's accepted payment methods.
Sameday Passport & Visa Expedite Services also lets you pay everything by debit card, cash or check and will obtain the money order for an additional fee of $10.00.

Adding it up for a first passport
At the fastest listed private service level, an expedited adult passport book is $216.87 in Department of State fees when optional 1–3 day book delivery is included, plus the separate $35 acceptance fee and the $399 private service fee. Private return shipping is additional only if selected.
- Include a prepaid return air bill and you will not be charged for shipping.
- Provide a FedEx account number and the office will generate the air bill, with a $5 fee added to your work order.
- Or collect the new passport in person at Suite 500.
Government fees + Sameday Passport & Visa Expedite Services expedite fees + return FedEx shipping fees = total fees.
