Flight itinerary
If you have one. It is okay if you do not.
Minors under 18
Birth certificate, both parents’ passport or license copies, and a notarized consent if not traveling with both parents.

Turkey lists one tourism visa, valid 3 months, priced on the number of entries. The two documents most often wrong are the employment letter and the bank statement.
Choosing your entries
- Single entry — $60 — one visit inside the 3 month validity.
- Multiple entry — $200 — several visits inside the 3 month validity.
- Same documents either way — the entry choice changes the consulate fee, not the checklist.
- Not sure which? — give the Arlington office your itinerary and an agent tells you whether the single entry covers it.
What the consulate reads closely

- Employment letter — must be an original, not a copy, and must say you are employed on your return.
- Vacation time — the letter has to state that the time off is approved.
- Bank statement — the most recent one. An old statement can hold the file up.
